Description:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will responsible for assisting in the administration of the general finance operation, financial reporting for the organisation and its related entities. Key duties will include:
- Assists with preparation of work papers to support cash flow forecasting.
- Prepares simple cash flow statements.
- Processes various month end journals.
- Codes and posts large invoices to correct business units.
- Assists with the preparation of reports to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Assists with automation of various administration processes.
- Prepares major spend rebate calculations.
- Prepares and analyses simple financial statements.
- Assit to prepare annual and/or quarterly budgets for the business in collaboration with the Group Manager.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position brings a wealth of experience in financial accounting with medium-large organisations. You ideally are CA or CPA qualification and have a strong understanding of financial accounting standards, policies and practices. Your excellent communication skills enable you to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders. Your strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and commitment to continuous improvement set you apart.
