About the Company and Role ...
With a full order book, this well-established Fabrication Engineering company in the Northern suburbs are looking to increase their workforce with the addition of a 1st Class TIG Welder (Stainless Steel) .
As this organisation is involved in the manufacture of components and structures from the construction industry and related sectors, you will need to possess the following:
Essential skills & experience:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of different people
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Stable and reliable work history in a Fabrication jobbing shop environment
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced indentured/Qualified Tradesperson
- Experience in TIG Welding mainly Stainless-Steel pipe and sheet and able to polish to a quality standard for both Pipe and Sheet
- Expertise in complex fabrication techniques and distortion control
- Experience in the use of both power and hand tools
- Have a current drivers licence
You will be required to pass a weld test.
