$210,000 – $216,000 per year
Our client is an Australian-based metals and minerals producer with projects up and running in the Kimberley Region.
They are looking to employ a Supervisor Maintenance to join their team at their process operations team. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, you will be responsible for responsible for leading a team of trades people to deliver planned and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently. This is a front-line leadership position, providing technical support and advice to the Maintenance Team on ways to optimise equipment reliability and availability to deliver on their budgeted commitments.
To be considered, you must have:
- Electrical trade certificate, or relevant industry experience
- Current WA C-Class driver’s license
- S1, S2, S3 Course completion
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a similar role, preferably in mineral sands or heavy industry mining environment
- Highly skilled in, and familiar with, maintenance of electrical fixed plant equipment and infrastructure
- The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and P&ID’s
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively convey daily priorities and action plans
- Fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with a “can-do” attitude and knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations
- Experience with maintenance planning/scheduling within CMMS systems, preferably SAP
- Valid Australian working rights ( without company sponsor )
- Currently hold or able to hold the position of Electrical Nominee registered with the Electrical Licensing Board
- Certificate in Frontline Leadership (desired)
- Certificate IV Instrumentation (desired)
- Work Management experience (desired)
- Budgeting and cost control experience (desired)
- An understanding and focus on improving Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) (desired)
- Franna Ticket advantageous (desired)
The position is a residential role with a 8:6 roster. You will be provided relocation/living, housing and roster allowances with variable quarterly bonus rates up to 20%. Transportation from and to the site will be provided as well.
This position is a hands-on role and presents the opportunity to join a unique and rapidly growing Company. The role is ideally permanent but this can be discussed (and adapted to suit the successful candidate).
Candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment tests, including drug and alcohol screening. A valid police clearance must be provided
The successful candidate must be reliable, helpful and amicable. Team dynamics are imperative for a well-functioning unit.
