An independent accounting firm are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Tax Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a small, locally based firm that service a range of locally-based loyal clients.Your new role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of financial activities and will provide personal and tailored support to the firm’s clients. Your responsibilities will include:- Preparing financial statements, tax plans and tax returns.
- Provide experienced, pragmatic advice to individuals and small business entities.
- General accounting work including providing services to a variety of business clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working in Australian public practice accounting firms.
- Full or partial CA/CPA completion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience or in-depth knowledge of the tax aspects of public practice accounting.
