Ambitious Developer-Builder Seeking Project Manager for Southside DevelopmentsYour new company
Your new company has been operating in South-East Queensland for over two decades. Our client specialises in multi-residential high-rise construction and has multiple projects running concurrently around Brisbane. With a large pipeline of work due to kick off over the next two years, our client is now looking for experienced Project Managers to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role as Project Manager, you will be tasked with collaborating with the wider leadership team in delivering projects across SEQ. Our client will task you to help deliver projects on their Southside developments, with one in the bulk earthworks stage and one to commence early next year. You will be tasked (but not limited to) the following:
- Working with internal stakeholders to produce a viable programme for construction
- Assisting with the procurement of trades and materials
- Responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and other on-site workers
- Adhere to construction budget
- Ensure the timely construction of the project in line with the programme
- Represent our client to the highest standard
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will possess the following skills, qualifications and attributes:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager in construction
- Sound knowledge and experience working on high-rise construction
- Trade and/or tertiary (in related field) qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and handle difficult situations
