We have a permanent part-time position, working three days per week based in Wagga Wagga at the Syngenta Seedcare Institute. The institute is located within the Charles Sturt University AgriPark and is one of sixteen facilities in the global Syngenta network, delivering best-in-class customer service around seed treatment applications.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical marketing support in the field of testing and benchmarking our new and existing seed treatment brands on different state-of-the art application technologies, to assess the various quality aspects.
In this role, you will perform the following tasks:
- support and operate Application and QA tools
- prepare and document application related studies in collaboration with product management and technical services
- provide training to internal and external customers
- organise and manage inventory of chemical products, seeds and other materials required for studies
- implementing best practice HSE for the lab and maintaining HSE records
- provide marketing support through exciting and novel tools for seed applied technologies, product brands and customers in application or service
We would like to speak with people who have completed or are obtaining a science-based degree with 2 years laboratory experience (preferable but not essential). A basic understanding of broadacre cropping practices and agronomy fundamentals is also desirable.
