What is TECSight?
Hutcheon and Pearce’s TECSight team is a remote support centre based in Wagga that deals in all things John Deere. We provide over-the-phone, on-farm and Precision Ag support to help our customer seamlessly connect their machine. Using John Deere technology, we provide the data insights to improve their farm’s productivity and profitability.
An average day includes; setting up display’s, receivers, rate controllers and other AMS products; talking to both our customers and branch mechanics through machine diagnostics; helping our customers get the most out of the digital tools available, including Operations Center and Property Center.
About the Role
As a TECSight Technical Support Specialist you will provide consulting services and expertise to customers and all dealership departments for the mechanical support of precision farming products, remote service diagnostics, the John Deere Connected Support strategy and other aligned technology and applications.
Responsibilities
Provide basic precision ag support both internally to your branches and externally to our customers
Provide basic machine diagnostic support
Proactively monitors and actions customer machines, uptime alerts and connectivity items
Participates in John Deere training to maintain current product knowledge
About You
Experience as a qualified technician or an agricultural-related role
Ability to understand repairs and maintenance with the ability to follow Technical Manual Procedures
Proficient oral and written communication skills with solid analytical skills
Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
