Don Watson Transport, a leading refrigerated transport company servicing the East Coast of Australia, is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Leading Hand to control the Operations in our Coldstore. Forklift Licence (counter-balance) is a mandatory requirement.
We are offering an ongoing Monday-Friday day shift - hours start at 10.00am working through to 6:06pm or to last trailer. Opportunity for regular overtime (generally daily Monday and Friday and some Saturdays).
To be successful in this role applicants will need to meet some of the following criteria:
Have a current Forklift Licence (Counter-balance) - ESSENTIAL
Have prior Leading Hand in Warehousing experience
Have a high attention to detail
Have their own reliable transport
Have a great work ethic & a can-do attitude
Have solid communication skills
Have experience with despatch paperwork
Have experience with Consignment Notes
Be physically fit
Be able to follow instruction
Be able to work both independently and in a team environment
