Operations Supervisor

Description:

1. Ensuring daily, weekly & monthly compost production plans & cleaning schedules are met
2. Looking after the pre-wet and phase 1 compost
3. Monitoring and managing water dam levels
4. Assisting with accurate stock takes especially straw stocks
5. Assisting in SWP and risk assessment development
6. Operation of machinery as per SWPs
7. Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained
8. Assist in managing performance and development of team members
9. Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures
10. Ability to work under limited supervision and independently yet also work well as part of a team
11. Report all incidents, accidents and near misses in accordance with the WHS

Requirements:

1. Hands on leadership experience or potential
2. Comfortable to work in an agricultural setting - Not afraid to get your hands dirty!
3. Excellent communication skills
4. High levels of attention to detail
5. Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks
6. High Risk (Forklift) & Front-End Loader licence (preferred)
