Description:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the Financial Accountant's responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly P&L's, Balance Sheet and GL reconciliations;
- Posting month end journals
- Assisting with transactional processing
- Preparing and lodgement of Activity Statements within ATO deadlines
- Preparation of fortnightly payroll
- Preparation of financial statement in compliance with IFRS
- Assist in compilation of documentation required for annual audits
- Implementing and/or maintaining accounting systems;
- Creating and improve accounting processes;
- Liaising with External Authorities such as Auditors or Tax Accountant on audit and/or tax queries
- Assisting with yearly budget & other accounting/tax-related duties as required
Requirements:
You will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business or Accounting
- Minimum 3-4 years post graduate experience, preferable with Audit and Commercial experiences
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Good communication skills and strong organisational skills
- Competent working with Microsoft Office software, with strong proficiency in Excel
- Exposure to Pronto ERP system would be advantage
