Description:
The Data Analyst/Power BI Developer will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing and customising various Power BI dashboards and reports to support business requirements.
- Actively consulting with reporting line and the wider business to identify opportunities for enhancements to the database, dashboards and reports.
- Consulting with Data Engineers to provide input into the new global Azure data warehouse as required to support database, dashboard and reporting needs.
Requirements:
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated commercial experience developing and customising dashboards/reports using Power BI.
- Strong SQL Server skills, particularly:
- T-SQL
- SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
- Query performance tuning.
- SQL Server access provisioning.
- Polished written and exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable and confident when speaking with all levels of the business to understand requirements, and an ability to adapt to technical and non-technical conversations as needed.
Non-essential, but beneficial skills:
- Experience working with Financial data and developing Financial reports.
- Experience in a similar role in the construction industry/construction systems.
- Understanding or familiarity with Azure data services, including Azure SQL databases, Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Exposure to Databricks, SSIS, and/or SSRS.
Conditions:
- Competitive salary of $125-130k base plus super.
