The Emerging Country Consumer Fulfillment (ECCF) Network and capacity planning team is looking for a talented Senior Supply Chain Manager who will work with the regional operation and supply chain teams to standardize and strengthen the supply chain process and systems

As a team player, you have an opportunity to work with some of the best Supply Chain professionals, Tech teams, Worldwide Design Engineers, Operations Managers, Finance Partners, Analytics teams, and Business Leaders across the entire spectrum of the network topology with an objective to solve the storage and processing capacity, delivery experience (DEX), and achieve the best customer experience in the most cost-efficient way.

This role requires working with cross-functional business teams across the AU network to sustain critical process related to change management, capacity design and Capacity metric management related to Fulfillment Center network and middle mile network topology. This position involves regular communication with operations leadership on status, risks/opportunities, and change management. Ability to understand complex data, diving deep through various information sources, and working closely with worldwide engineers, technology partners and local/regional operations teams to rapidly iterate and deliver solutions. Successful candidates must thrive in fast-paced environments which encourage collaborative and creative problem solving to handle significantly complex problems/efforts, decisions, and escalations.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead projects related to capacity optimization and risk management.
- Lead business critical process related to change management, implementing robust auditing and participate to feature enhancement of capacity tools for AU region.
- Actively work with AU operations leadership and AU stores team to track and enhance important capacity metrics
- Actively work to remove bottlenecks and create scalable mechanisms.
- Communicate and drive midterm to long term initiatives. - Contribute to the mid to long-term capacity planning process and standardization.
- Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in the process/solution by performing continuous benchmarking with developed countries network.
- Drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project/program status via monthly and quarterly planning reviews.
-Travel Domestic ~ 25%
The primary focus of the role is to work with the Operations and Execution teams within AU network to drive capacity planning, capacity management related processes and metric improvement, developing SOP and playbook, to standardize and drive FC capacity efficiencies.

Melbourne, VIC, AUS | Sydney, NSW, AUS

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 8+ years of experience in Capacity planning, Network planning, supply chain optimization, Network topology planning, or similar.
- 5+ years using MS Excel or other related data analysis tools.
- 5+ years in a production, fulfillment, or planning environment.
- The ability to use both formal and informal influencing skills across Amazon's cross-matrix organization is critical to the success of this role.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.- Master's degree
- Knowledge of how a fulfillment center, and transportation network is designed and operated.
- Ability to communicate effectively across a multitude of platforms with remote team members, as well as stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
