Description:
Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, lodgement, and administration of Australian tax returns, alongside providing support for international tax matters. This role requires strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation and lodgement of Australian tax returns;
- Manage income tax returns and tax effect accounting;
- Assist with transfer pricing and transparency reporting, including Country by Country report;
- Liaise with external advisers for foreign tax return preparation;
- Conduct GST and tax analysis, including financial acquisitions threshold and blackhole costs;
- Utilise tax software for tax effect accounting and income tax returns, administer tax accounts, reconcile tax accounts, and support with global taxes.
- Collaborate with Finance and wider business on tax matters (Advisory).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of tax experience with international exposure;
- Proficiency in tax software, preferably Wolters Kluwer CCH Integrator (nice to have);
- Strong MS Office skills;
- CA/CPA qualification;
- Ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail;
- Public accounting backgrounds will be highly regarded.
