Description:
As a payroll officer, you would work alongside the finance function and maintain tasks such as providing transnational processing, efficient management of the payroll functions and ensuring that their employees are paid accurately and on time. You'll play a pivotal role in their success by:
- Ensure that all Payroll administration duties including employment paperwork, filing, and necessary payroll checks are done correctly and on time.
- Maintain employee records; ensure that new employees and employee changes are entered correctly on a timely basis in the systems.
- Ensure all aspects of payroll operation comply with the organisation's Enterprise Agreement.
- Ensure that payroll and HR complies with legislative requirements policies and procedures.
- Generating HR and payroll reports and including (but not limited to): employee information reports, recruitment reports, on boarding, and off boarding reports, leave balance, and any other reports as directed
- Liaise with other managers and departments as appropriate.
- Assist in recruitment and other Payroll and HR projects as necessary.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- 6 months to 2 years experience in payroll position with a willing attitude to learn
- Proficient communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with capability to meets deadlines
- Proven award interpretation knowledge
- To be Independent, proactive and self-sufficient
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate Excel skills
