Description:
- Collaborate with development managers on project finances, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and review cost allocations.
- Generate monthly reports with variance analysis and monitor project cash-flows.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and reconciliation.
- Manage capex budgets in JDE and aid Development and Sales teams in purchase order processes.
- Administer project system setup, DOA, and budgets.
- Support ad- hoc finance needs for development and sales.
- Assist Finance team in preparing audit files, addressing audit queries, and verifying investor information.
- Evaluate and enhance policies, processes, and procedures for business effectiveness.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
- Comply with HSE policies, follow safety instructions, and report workplace hazards.
Requirements:
Ideal role for commercially focused Financial Accountants with experience working on end-to-end projects who are currently working in the property or construction space. Experience working in the property development would be beneficial, but not essential to the role. The successful candidate will have an accounting qualification and will be confident in their technical accounting abilities, as well as enjoy creating and fostering relationships with a range of stakeholders with their strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration.
