Description:
- Foster strong relationships across Finance, CSG, and senior management.
- Lead and manage the Management Accounting and Systems Accounting team, which comprises 3 direct reports, with an overall team size of 6 members.
- Take full responsibility for processing Executive payroll to support the payroll department.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly Management Accounts.
- Provide insightful commentary on business performance, highlighting variations from budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse result trends and identify underlying drivers.
- Ensure Management Accounts adhere to Accounting Standards, aligning them closely with audited Financial Statements.
- Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts meticulously.
- Obtain agreement on significant accounting judgements with the Group Finance Manager and CFO.
- Coordinate data input into Budget and Forecast templates with relevant managers.
- Assist in addressing audit queries effectively.

- Advanced spreadsheet capabilities for data analysis and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting reporting systems to streamline processes.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in analysing financial data and preparing comprehensive reports, statements, and projections.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from data and provide strategic consulting services to the Board, ELT, and discipline leads.
- Strategic understanding of operations, preferably within the professional consultancy sector.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial and/or management accounting roles.
- CA/CPA qualification to ensure a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
