Description:
- Collaborate with health care professionals, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including data models, system architectures, and interface designs.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing health care systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and vendors to design and implement scalable, interoperable solutions that meet the needs of health care providers and patients.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, user interviews, and requirements gathering sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of user needs and preferences.
- Perform data analysis and mapping activities to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between health care systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business process models, requirements documents, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in health care IT, preferably within a large health care organisation.
- Experience with health care IT applications and platforms, including electronic health records (EHR), clinical decision support systems, and health information exchanges (HIE).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL queries, data mapping, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
