Amazon Devices—the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo, Kindle E-Reader and Fire TV—is seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented and customer-obsessed, Sr. Product Marketing Manager. You will be part of a team that embraces calculated risk taking, moves fast to bring value to customers and has fun together while doing so.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering on our Alexa customer goals, focusing on how we optimise the customer shopping experience across our portfolio of Echo devices to better educate customers on their journey. You will take a data-driven approach in segmenting and adapting marketing, sales, communication and education strategies for new and existing customers.
This role is inherently cross-functional and highly visible, working closely with local and international stakeholders and earning trust at all levels in building business cases and rapidly transitioning to successful implementation. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, great at meeting multiple deadlines through exceptional planning skills, capable to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and comfortable with a varied set of software tools.
Experience in product marketing and sales is highly desired. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management.


Key job responsibilities
• Define and execute Amazon smart home sales and marketing initiatives.
• Own go-to-market and product marketing for a subset of devices and features.
• Ideate, develop, and execute unique partner marketing initiatives.
• Lead senior-level product and retail partners through complex negotiations.
• Develop cross-channel branding and messaging strategies, and ensure execution consistency


A day in the life
To succeed, you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, wear several hats, show hustle, and work collaboratively across multiple teams. You will define the strategy, identify opportunities for accelerating growth and define the plan to get there working with marketing and product teams. You will build and prioritise the roadmap and deliver strong results, launching and measuring success of marketing and acquisition initiatives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, business or equivalent
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS)
- This is a contract maternity cover position- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
- Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; proven ability to think big and influence others
- Experience delivering highly visible—and effective—customer-facing programs and experiences
- Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Retail, Business Development and Research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
