- Permanent Part-time position on offer
- Monday - Friday | 9:00am – 12:00pm
- $26.00 increases to $27.80 after 6 weeks + 12% super
- District Allowance with dependents $5,800
- District Allowance without dependents $3,160
About the opportunity
As our Retail Postage Sorter , you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
You’ll be:
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About you
You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
