We are seeking a qualified Educator to take on the role of Educational Leader. Located opposite Chadstone Shopping Complex and catering to 120 children per day, our Long Day Care Centre provides ample opportunity for learning to take place in an unhurried manner. Equipped with natural age-appropriate resources, our home-like environment is designed to cater to families and children in the local community and beyond.

This unique opportunity is perfect for a candidate who is experienced as an Educational Leader and has worked in a flexible way to support the implementation of the Educational program across the Centre. The role requires a sound knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework, The Victorian Early Years  Learning and Development Framework, The National Quality Standards, and the ability to work in an innovative and collaborative way.

The Educational Leader will receive ongoing mentorship and professional learning from experience curriculum leaders to enhance their skills of reflective practice and enable them to successfully carry out their role. We understand the complexity of working with a dynamic group of people, therefore in all our endeavours will ensure the Educational Leader is well-resourced with tools and training to carry out their daily duties.

To be part of our Paisley Park family, the successful candidate will have:

1. An Early Childhood qualification

2. A Working with Children Check

3. A Senior First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma Certification

4. A Drivers Licence, or ability to navigate public transport 

5. Australian Residency, or sponsorship capacity

6. Child Protection Certification and an understanding of their Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities

7. Have extensive experience with programming, planning and the Assessment and Rating process

8. The ability to communicate well, both orally and written.
