DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.planning menus estimating Food And labour costs, and ordering food supplies

2.preparing and cooking food.

3.Selecting and training staff.

4. Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.

5. Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.

6. Discussing Food issues with managers and kitchen and waiting staff..

7. Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.. 

8. Freezing and preserving foods.. 

9. must have two years of relevant work experience and hold at least a QF associate degree advanced diploma or diploma 

Skills required 

Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Must possess excellent communication management and leadership skills and interpersonal skills

Must have at  least two years experience. 
 Must hold at least AQF associate degree, advanced diploma or diploma
Must be an  Australian citizen or permanent resident
