Our expertise lies in curating and importing a diverse range of high-quality porcelain and ceramic tiles, along with bathroom fittings and accessories sourced from across the globe, selling through our owned retail stores, and wholesale sales channels.

With nearly two decades of brand history, the business is maturing and has set a strategy for transformative growth, presenting exciting opportunities for individual development and advancement.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our established showroom retailing porcelain and ceramic floor tiles, and bathroom accessories. This role is pivotal to the organization, and will see you working closely with the business owner to achieve sales objectives, identify new growth areas across product and customer segments, and maintain long standing existing customer relationships.

We are a small team focused on achieving amazing outcomes for our customers. While this role will require a hands-on store manager, it is also part of the group's senior leadership team, contributing to the broader strategy and execution of the group. Your experience and expertise are valued and duly rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate, lead, and manage a small, high-performing front-of-house sales team.
  • Create a positive workplace where the store achieves its sales and profit goals.
  • Manage store operations across stock holding, inventory movement, and customer order execution.
  • Develop and execute store visual merchandising plans, feature product displays, and sales promotions to drive targeted product performance.
  • Engage with business owners to pilot, launch, and innovate on new products and services.
  • Ensure a safe workplace, adhering to all company policies and H&S standards.

Leverage Your Experience to Add Value:

  • Contribute insights into product range development based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Identify sales opportunities in new customer segments.
  • Collaborate on the development of sales and marketing collateral/campaigns tailored to customer engagement.
  • Provide input on sales systems and processes to enhance customer satisfaction and overall retail sales.

About you:

  • Broad product knowledge of the Porcelain and Ceramic product category.
  • Prior experience managing a showroom that retails tile or building material related products would be desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrate experience building and leading a high-performing retail team.
  • Familiar with retail sales performance metrics and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Hands-on team leader; you lead by example.
  • Knowledge of bathroom fitting products (tapware, vanity, baths & basins, etc.) is nice to have but not essential.
  • Forklift license desirable but not essential (training provided).

Our retail business operates 7 days per week, including weekends and most public holidays. You must be available to work within these requirements; you will have rostering responsibility for your team.
