Penrith Specialist Group is a busy multispecialty medical practice located in the popular Nepean Health Hub. We are a busy team of specialists in the fields of Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology and Geriatric Medicine.
We have been serving the Penrith, Blue Mountains and surrounding communities for the last 8 years
We are excited to invite an enthusiastic and suitable candidate to join our dedicated team as a full time medical receptionist and admin officer.
The job involves the following responsibilities:
- Full time medical receptionist with some administrative duties
- Looking after all patients attending the practice including booking, greeting, billing and handling messages to the respective specialists
- Helping with the smooth administrative running of the office
Essential Criteria
- Prior experience in a medical practice or hospital department in the field of reception/administration
- Caring, warm and friendly personality
- Prior experience in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of the Penrith/Blue Mountains area - ideally living within 20kms of Penrith
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English
- Able to work full time and occasionally on Saturdays
- Some flexibility with hours (start time 8am and finish time 6pm)
- No option for working from home
