Commercial Pool Filtration Installation and Project Management 

Located in Melbourne's East, we are a premium supplier of commercial pools, renowned for our commitment to quality and innovation. With a track record of delivering exceptional results, we specialize in designing and installing state-of-the-art pools across Melbourne and interstate. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pool filtration technician to join us in a dual role as a Pool Filtration System Installer and Pool Project Manager.

As an experienced pool technician with a focus on quality, you will be responsible for designing and installing cutting-edge pool filtration systems for our prestigious commercial clients. In addition, you will take on the role of project manager, overseeing all aspects of commercial pool installations to ensure they meet our exacting standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in pool filtration plumbing while leading high-profile projects that make a lasting impact.

NOTE: This is not a pool maintenance technician role. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Design innovative and efficient pool filtration systems tailored to the specific needs and requirements of commercial clients.
  2. Lead the installation of pool filtration systems, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry best practices.
  3. Project manage commercial pool installations from inception to completion, including coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  4. Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective execution.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
  6. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during the installation process.
  7. Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  8. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience as a pool technician  
  2. Experience in designing and installing pool filtration systems 
  3. Proven track record of project management success. 
  4. Strong technical proficiency in plumbing principles and practices, with expertise in pool filtration systems. 
  5. Commitment to quality and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering exceptional results that exceed client expectations.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Flexibility to travel as needed for project assignments in Melbourne and interstate locations.
  8. A solid understanding of filtration plumbing principles and an understanding of relevant commercial pool codes and regulations.
  9. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
