The Role and Our Company

Due to ongoing growth this leader in the Commercial, Civil & Industrial Fencing space is recruiting for a key Office Admin role.  We have been operating in this market since 2011 and is regarded in our industry as offering the best combination of expertise, quality workmanship, price, and service.

We almost exclusively work on large-scale Commercial, Civil & Industrial projects with extensive projects across the Perth Metropolitan region.

We work from our new industrial facility in Bayswater, which is located perfectly central to all operations north and south.

This position forms the hub between the people in the business and those we deal with. It deals directly with high-level B2B clients as well as our mutual private customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general assistance to the Director and General Manager.
  • Respond to job-related inquiries from contractors via email or phone.
  • Manage data for job entries into the system and issue acknowledgment emails.
  • Assess job priorities and sequence for timely execution.
  • Ensure compliance items, agreements, insurances, and licenses are up to date.
  • Assist with tendering and project documentation.
  • Maintain excellent business to business rapport with land developers and commercial clients. 
  • Managing office supplies and lodging I.T support tickets as needed.
  • Arrange all website and social media related actions. We are open to expanding this “window” to our company, keeping in mind that this is not where our business comes from.
  • Improve client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts. 

 

You:

  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong attention to detail and quick learning ability.
  • Number accuracy.
  • Impressive organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience with land developers will be a bonus.
  • Preferably experienced in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Office; intermediate to strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Canva and website design skills (Squarespace) highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of accounting, especially Xero, is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills across various communication channels
  • It is crucial that you are honest, reliable, hardworking, and able to work autonomously.
  • Position available immediately; start date flexible for the right candidate.
