Head Chef Position

Club Italia Sporting Club is a proud club celebrating it 50th year, that focusses on providing the local community with a place to meet and celebrate culture, families, friendships and heritage.

THE POSITION

• Plan, supervise and monitor the food production across Bistro, Function and Events.
• Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness and OHS in accordance with statutory regulations.
• Lead, develop and inspire a team of culinary talents.
• Maintain a high and consistent standard of food quality and presentation.
• Responsible for inventory, procurement, cost control and minimise food wastage.
• Maintain weekly rosters and budgets.

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert IV Commercial Cookery.
• Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams.
• Computer literacy, MS Office.
• Inspire your team with your innovative and creative flair.
• Personable with staff, patrons and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and sponsors.
