Due to a recent contract award, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support a leading resources project in WA’s North West Region.
  
As an Experienced Electrical Engineer, you’ll support the current project team in a range of capital work requirements as they expand project and camp facilities, this will require you to actively support the Electrical load calculations and contractor management across power generation and current generator support to the expansion zones. The role will be heavily focused across Generation load, capacity and ongoing capability inclusive of all site based requirement.
  
We’ll need you to have an extensive background in WA related Mining projects:

• Including current and future Power requirements
• Capacity and Power load calculations
• Power Generation drawings
• Management of client stakeholders including strong drawing and mark-up requirements across software packages (ETAP / Power Factory / MicroStation & Autocad).
• xperienced with electrical drawings including reviewing, creating, red lining on both PDF & CAD files.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
• Ability to complete Variation Price Requests, Variation estimates and take offs.
• Ability to review and reference technical specifications and relate back to the SOW

  
Joining and existing Electrical project team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Engineer, Project Manager and Client team to maintain current Electrical delivery alongside support to the project team in tendering and expansion bids.

You’ll need to hold a current affiliated Electrical Engineering Qualification

• Full working rights
• WA Driving License
• Proven experience with construction-based electrical engineering works including daily reporting, progress claims, punch listing, defect tracking, NCR’s, RFI’s 

  
This role is available as a FIFO from Perth, based on a 2-2 roster you’ll be engaged on a temporary contract with a view that this role offers a permanent contract where applicable.
