About the Role: 

Based at our Brisbane (or Perth) office, we are currently seeking suitably qualified and energetic E&I Engineers to join the team. 

Ideally you will have minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Electrical and  Instrumentation Engineering in the Gas and Energy Construction sector, including experience on facilities construction projects, major EPC projects and/or Infrastructure projects.    

To be successful, you will preferably have experience with elements of the following in the Australian onshore oil and gas infrastructure project environment:

Design Engineering 

  • Perform engineering calculations,
  • Preparation of technical documentation including scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets,
  • Engineering input and checking of design deliverables (documents and drawings),
  • Familiarity with the relevant Australian and International Standards,
  • Provide technical engineering  support.

Project Engineering 

  • Attend internal and external project meetings as required to support project management and discipline lead, 
  • Procurement and package engineering, including technical bid evaluations,
  • Material take off and procurement of construction materials,
  • Preparation, submission and evaluation of tender packages of key equipment,
  • Assist in updating update progress percentage, forecast manhours and forecast completion dates for all deliverables,
  • Vendor package management and expediting.

 

Essential Qualities and Background

  • Degree qualified engineer with 5+ years' post graduate experience in an aligned industry, preferably oil and gas construction projects,
  • Strong computer literacy skills with advanced knowledge of MS applications, 
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively and to hard deadlines,
  • Willingness to work on a range of projects as workload dictates,
  • Adaptability to be able to work directly from client's offices representing Enscope when needed,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal & external stakeholders,
  • Availability to travel interstate and to sites when needed (rosters are negotiated on a case by case basis).

Enscope works in all States of Australia so candidates must be willing to travel to our construction sites and client offices, both in QLD and interstate to represent the Company on occasion. Working from our client's offices in secondee type roles can also be required from time to time.
