Handy Person/Cleaner/Gardener

To achieve this wide scope of work the company provides a diverse range of property maintenance services, including routine gardening, spring cleaning, restoration, commercial industrial cleaning services and general property repairs to a diverse client base ranging from large commercial through to domestic clients.

We are seeking friendly and approachable team members, who’s strong work ethic, is the basis for delivering customer satisfaction through delivering high quality work and seeing jobs through to completion.

If you are flexible and enjoy variety in your work, then this may be the position for you. Ideally you would bring to the job skills in general gardening, home cleaning, carpet cleaning, roof and gutter cleaning. Experience in carpentry, gyprock, working at heights and water damage restoration, building maintenance, industrial, commercial & domestic cleaning, mould, flood, fire restoration or pathological clean up i.e. bird waste, COVID 19 etc. will be highly regarded.

You will need to possess a preparedness to undertake a wide variety of tasks, have excellent time management skills and enjoy working in a team based environment with other trades, professionals and supervisors.

A successful candidate will have a driver’s license, their own reliable transport to and from varied work sites. You will need to have a suitable police clearance, and MUST be able to obtain a DCSI “Working with Children Clearance and Aged Care Clearance”, these are mandatory requirement for the position.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Previous experience (plus 3 yrs) in a similar role
• Ability to work under pressure and produce high quality results
• A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to coordinate effectively between tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills
• Strong focus on team work
• Display a "hands on" can do attitude
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays and after hours
• Problem solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Preparedness to use technology based job management software.
