The role was created to cover a 7-month fixed term maternity leave contract and reports into the Group Financial Controller. 

Key duties include: 

• Completion of month-end cycle for corporate entities 
• Profit and loss statements 
• Financial statements
• Half-yearly statutory reporting 
• General ledger reconciliations
• Budgets and forecasts 
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs 
• Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Process improvement 
• Assist with audit processes 

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with over 4 years of experience in a similar role. You will be an all-rounder accountant, who is hands-on, down to earth, a team player and have excellent communication skills. It is highly favourable to have a background in the resources and mining industry as well as be advanced in Excel.
