About the Role 

As the National Sales Manager, the role is focused on leading the Commercial Agenda and driving sales activity across the Australia business to ensure sales targets are achieved and exceeded. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Meet or exceed sales goals through prospecting and winning new revenue-generating relationships
  • Drive sales across all business products; including but not limited to domestic courier, international courier, and freight
  • Utilise advanced sales, communications, and business skills to position appropriate solutions, overcome objections/resistance and close the sale
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance in the development of the company’s commercial interests and prepare an annual strategic sales plan 
  • Assist in developing an annual budget as well as manage and monitor the company growth plan for sales with frequent management reporting and forecasting to the VP and other stakeholders
  • Building an inside and outside sales team, providing guidance and support in territory/account planning, opportunity development and key client-facing activities
  • Provide executive sales presence at client and prospective client meetings
  • Maintain effective engagement with business owners and General Managers
  • Communicate all new sales initiatives, processes and acquisitions
  • Work with IT to ensure back office support for customer facing integration and support 
  • Present Aramex to new business prospects and follow through to acquisition
  • Build custom commercial solutions for outside the box opportunities
  • Build strong key account relationships across key depots
  • Maintain a high corporate profile with key accounts

 

 What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, including prior sales leadership experience
  • Effective leader of people with a track record of leading teams to deliver profitable growth
  • Financial acumen, business management skills, and strong understanding of business owners touch points
  • Advanced customer management, negotiation and selling skills 
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Creativity and optimism to get the best from a dynamic environment and industry
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management including high levels of influencing 
  • Collaborative and mentoring leadership style
