About the role

The Northeast Auto Group is expanding again…. and this time we are coming to Alice Springs!

Our BRAND NEW Dealership is almost ready to open in Alice Springs partnering with KIA, we have multiple opportunities for energetic, switched on people from the local community to join the team.  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers.

Day to Day responsibilities will include: 

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer interactions.
• Lead, coach, and mentor service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and enhance the service department's reputation for quality and professionalism.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase service department profitability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and improve overall dealership operations.
• Stay up-to-date on products, technologies, and service procedures to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers and staff.

About You 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management, preferably with a focus on Kia vehicles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in dealership management software and automotive diagnostic tools.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyse data, and drive performance improvements.
