Receptionist & Social Media Content Creator
We have a full-time position available for a Receptionist/Social Media Content Creator at an Optometry practice in Manuka, Canberra.
Our hours are:
Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Saturday 9.00am to 3.00pm
Immediate commencement available, though not essential:
Rotating roster weeks 1 and 2
Week 1: Monday - Friday
Week 2: Monday - Saturday (with Wednesday RDO)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Due to practice growth, we have had a role become available. The successful person will be working within a team of medical professionals who are customer focused, efficient and effective. Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Greeting patients in a warm and professional manner.
- Managing patient records, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Handling phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate information to stakeholders.
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
- Maintain calendar for internal and external appointments.
- Maintain office and optometry supplies.
- Assisting with billing and payment processing including Medicare and HealthFund rebates.
- Develop social media campaigns.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly, fostering a sense of community.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our industry.
- Content planning.
- Liase with marketing managers.
** Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
