About the role

If you are a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer, this is a great opportunity to have meaningful input into exciting engineering projects.

• Develop, design and test material handling equipment
• Performing Engineering calculations and drafting for the project
• Use the latest design technology – 3D Modelling, FEA , Team Centre, Solid Edge
• Review and design hydraulic systems for attachments as required
• Prepare quality documents and reports
• Work safely with our skilled engineering team to solve problems and analyse product performance.

About you

• At least 3+ year experience
• Use of 3D modelling package e.g., Solid Edge or similar
• Knowledge of FEA software (Ansys) and hydraulics preferable
• Ability to gain knowledge of Australian Standards
• Excellent engineering calculation skills
• Ability to read and interpret machine drawings
• Ability to gain an understanding of fabrication including welding compliance etc
• Excellent research and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills; and
• Exemplary skills in excel and other Microsoft office suit.
