Dental Receptionist 

WHITE HILLS DENTAL PRACTICE

We are currently expanding and looking for an experienced dental receptionist/administrative person/s to join our team. 

2 POSITIONS TO BE FILLED

1 full time position 

1 part time position (between 10-20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients with a friendly demeanour.
• Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
• Collect and update patient information accurately.
• Take billings, insurance, CDBS and DVA payments etc. 
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and referrals.
• Daily procedures including balancing tills, cash, end of day report, etc.

Requirements:

• Previous dental experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. 
• Ability to adjust to new and upcoming procedures 
• Knowledgeable about sterilisation and be able to help around the practice.
