Based in our Port Melbourne office, the Finance Manager opportunity has a national responsibility for managing all financial components for our Crosscom business. You will be a critical stakeholder to Crosscom’s General Manager providing financial guidance and recommendations based on what you are seeing from across the business, while overseeing your national team to ultimately own the financial functions of our business. This includes, reporting & analysis, compiling budgets and forecasts, ensuring control of cash & working capital and commentary reports and analysis to our global corporate entity, Executive Management, Senior Leadership and our Board of Directors. 

Included:

  • National month end for the Crosscom business, including management reporting, Group financial reporting, quarterly board reports and insights. 
  • Manage a national team, including overseeing our Shared Services function responsible for cash flow, credit control, collections, stocktake, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Lead quarterly and annual reporting to head office.
  • Oversee operational finances, advising on contracts, FX, and bank dealings.
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to manage and implement governance, mitigate risk, continuously improve the finance function, audits and tax reporting and ensuring we operate to law and regulation.

You will possess the following attributes:

  • Professional CA/CPA qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Senior Finance Management positions
  • Advanced Commercial acumen – From supporting/driving positive commercial outcomes, through to excellent analysis and reporting.
  • Operational management experience of a finance team, with vision and leadership strategies including process improvement and optimisation.
  • A proven track record in professionalism and communication, to build robust relationships and drive your team’s engagement.
  • Expert level knowledge of legislation, regulations, best practice and financial management strategies.
