Thanks to exciting development plans, internal opportunities and maternity cover, we have a number of opportunities available in the short and medium term.

We are offering rare opportunities for experienced veterinary nurses with a passion for continuing their professional development to join our team of renowned specialists and talented support staff. Hone your trade to specialist level by working with some of WA's premier medicine, surgical, oncology, imaging, anaesthesia or emergency nurses and clinicians.

While there are immediate maternity cover and full time roles available, our commitment to the skills development of our people means that they might be across any of the departments as people internally choose roles than most align with their interests and passions. This means that - for the right candidates - we could have openings available in multiple departments, either full time, part time or casual.

Nurses who join our team will not only be supported to develop to their full potential in highly specialised areas, they'll also be empowered to help build the success of your team and the organisation as a whole.

About you:

We’re seeking experienced nurses, ideally from a specialist background or with significant GP experience and a willingness to learn and adapt to the nuances of specialty practice.

You’ll be passionate about your professional development, have exciting goals for your future, and a passion for being part of making the workday of those around you fun, productive, and inviting.

We're eager to meet nurses with demonstrated high level of organisational skills, attention to detail, a drive to make the clinical journey positive for our patients and clients.

Exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to building positive relationships to create the best outcomes for patients, clients, and the team.

Initiative and proactiveness is also a favourite skill here!

About us:

Perth Veterinary Specialists is home to world-leading specialists, with Surgery, Medicine, Imaging, Oncology, Anaesthesia and Urgent Care departments all working together for patient outcomes and client experience.

We have a new General Manager with a passion for the people of the veterinary industry, and are excited to be planning for our move to a brand new facility in the next 18 months. This offers a unique opportunity to be a part of continuously developing a highly skilled team and world-class service as we look to the future of our profession and how we can be at the forefront of it.

If this exciting role sounds like you, please get in touch. Don’t delay as applications will close when we find the perfect fit.
