Overview

Caloundra City Private School is seeking applications from experienced School Finance professionals/Graduate Accountant to work alongside our Business Manager in the day to day financial management of our School.

The position will be offered as a contract position while our Finance Officer is on extended leave until September 2025.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the day to day financial duties of the school and Child Care Centre, including

Accounts Receivable -School fee preparation,management of accounts,debtor management

Accounts Payable

Human Resources and Payroll processing

End of month procedures, including BAS, bank reconciliations and superannuation processing

Assisting parents with School Fee enquiries

Assisting the Business Manager with the day to day running of school administration

Qualifications

Applicants should have a relevant qualification in business, accounting or finance

A current paid Blue Card is required

Current First Aide and CPR

Requirements

Exceptional time management and organisation skills

Experience in finance within a school environment with particular experience in payroll.

Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

Experience in TASS and Xplor software programs

Experience in Alii Software
