Milligram has been loved by our online customers for over 15 years and is one of Australia’s most exciting retail stores.  Having expanded from our Melbourne homebase to Sydney, we are delighted to be coming soon to Rundle Mall and we would love you to be part of our growth!

We are looking for like-minded lovers of our design-led stationery and lifestyle brands (eg Moleskine, LAMY, Studio Milligram, Kinto and many more) to lead our Milligram Rundle Mall store. Our team is passionate about delivering a memorable service experience, connecting our customers with our amazing brands and the right product for their needs.  You'll be a valued leader in our team, working in a collaborative, supportive environment to grow our customer base in Adelaide and achieve results in our newest team.

The Role

We have full-time opportunities for a Store Manager and an Assistant Store Manager.  As our store leaders, you role model sales and service excellence, developing and leading the team to achieve results the Milligram way.  You will be responsible for:

• Leading the team to achieve store KPI’s and sales budgets
• Delivery of exceptional personal sales results
• Maintaining impeccable store presentation standards, including VM execution & cleaning standards, with an eye for detail
• Inspiring, coaching and motivating the team to deliver the store’s objectives
• Rostering for results and management of wages within the budget
• Stock management and shrinkage control
• Applying high standards of organisation, training and communication to ensure your team has a clear understanding of product and business expectations
• Communicating ideas and suggestions to improve results & ranging
• For the Assistant Store Manager, provide leadership support to the Store Manager, running the store on designated day

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous leadership experience in retail sales with exceptional results
• A strong passion for sales and customer service
• An eye for visual merchandising in a premium product context
• Excellent people and communication skills
• A positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude 
• Proven ability to motivate & develop a team to deliver exceptional sales and other KPI’s
• A curious mind, always wanting to learn more about our amazing brands and sharing this passion with your team and customers
• Being self-motivated, with confidence to work autonomously and lead by example
• Tech-savvy so that you are comfortable working with the operational tools and information you’ll have at your fingertips
