Mt Rawdon- Drill Fitter
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company at our Mt Rawdon QLD operations. The position is full time on a 7:7 roster. Accommodation in Mount Perry is supplied whilst on shift. A working knowledge of Atlas and Sandvik rigs would be an advantage. Tools will be supplied.
Key Responsibilities:
- On site field service repairs
- Technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel
- Training & support to other SRG employees
- Liaison with OEM’s & suppliers on technical issues
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Experience with Atlas D65 and Sandvik DPI 1500 Drill Rigs advantage but not necessary
- Experience on a Mine Site is advantages.
- Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Good communication and organizational skills, with an emphasis on team work
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
- Hold a current driver licence
- HR License would be advantages
