We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team to be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth and winning new business in Victoria and Tasmania.
About the role:
As our Business Development Manager - VIC/TAS, you will be responsible for meeting our budget and delivering profitable sales growth for these two states.
This is an opportunity to drive and shape the business to deliver profitable sales growth via two of our iconic Australian brands: Mrs Mac's and Balfours. You will collaborate with our customers to successfully implement channel and category solutions and deliver sustainable growth, while also focusing on new business opportunities.
Reporting directly to the National Business Manager - Major Distributors, this position will be working from home and will be expected to commute to customers when required.
About you:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In order to succeed in this role, you will bring the following:
- Prior experience as a State/Key Account Manager in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry with a particular focus on Victoria (essential) and Tasmania (desired).
- The ability to understand the needs of a diverse range of customers.
- A proven track record of securing new business throughout your career.
- Leadership/mentorship skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Tertiary Degree or Qualification in a relevant field (Desired).
- A valid Australian Driver's License.
