Design & Build are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join one of the leading HVAC Contractors in Australia who have won several key projects and have a strong pipeline of technical projects to provide a long-term opportunity to establish yourself in the company. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering design for D&C commercial projects throughout the whole lifecycle of the project
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, communicating technical solutions
  • Mentoring, training, and developing junior engineers in the team
  • Prepare documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure that engineering projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in HVAC design on Australian projects
  • Must have experience in Revit & AutoCAD. Further experience with Camel & Bluebeam is a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards, NABERS & Green Star ratings
  • Ability to take responsibility for project delivery
  • Ability to work in a team and mentor junior members of the team
  • Ability to manage deadlines and workload.
