Workfast is seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to join the Service and Care Technician team, based in Bankstown servicing the Sydney and NSW region for the role.

You must have 4 years experience working in the Industrial Space and in a supervisor role and ideally have mechanical experience with a Forklift License.

About you

• Candidates must have at least 4 years Industrial Electrical/Mechanical  experience
• Minimum 2 Years experience in a supervisor role
• Valid NSW Electrical Licence (advantageous) 
• We are open to those with a Mechanical Trade (Fitter, Turner or Boiler Maker)
• Ideally with a Supervisor/Contractor license
• Forklift License
• Must have a White Card
• Must have a valid NSW drivers licence
• Physically fit to carry out labouring work

What you will be doing

• Takes ownership of allocated tasks and duties – follows through to task completion. Ensuring sufficient task analysis is completed to carry work out safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
  equipment while in the field.
• Efficient and accurate installation of equipment in accordance with drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Provide on-call emergency service as required and maintain communication with the department manager while in the field.
• Educate customers on correct operational requirements, preventive
  maintenance and safety requirements, and provide general customer service on the phone and in person
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying
  solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
• Manage Service Technicians, including those in QLD, and VIC
• The role will require Interstate Travel from time to time
• The role will require after hours on call support, and management of after hours technical support.
