The opportunity

Silverchain Hospital at the Home Service has vacancies for Registered Nurses, based out of our Maddington Service Centre. These roles offer the opportunity to work in the community with a variety of clients. You will need to have extensive experience in Acute Care, assessments, maintenance of care plans; managing emergencies and identification of and delivery of appropriate intervention for complex client problems. We have Part Time (38 hours per fortnight).

You will have some availability between Monday - Sunday 7.00am - 9.00pm and weekend shifts (shifts will attract penalty rates).

Key Responsibilities

You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Nurse, using your exceptional Acute clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care from start to finish to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes.

About you

Advanced Clinical assessment skills in the areas of assessment, problem solving, client and family education

  • You must have 3+ years Post Grad nursing experience
  • Acute Care experience would be most desirable
  • ED and or Community nursing is advantageous
  • Current Registration with the AHPRA
  • Great organisational and time management skills
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
  • A current Australian driver's licence
