St Mary's Primary School Williamstown OSHClub is looking for a passionate Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 19:25 hours per week guaranteed, assisting in leading a team of Educators at a medium sized service 75 licence capacity in the south-western suburb of Melbourne - Williamstown. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a step up in their career, dedicated to take ownership of an existing service and passionate about development of a team.

Hours are as follows: Monday - Friday, 03:00 - 6:15 PM (Stay and Play Program) + additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role

Assist in leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school

St Mary's Primary School Williamstown OSHClub is an existing medium and vibrant service with an average afternoon attendance of up to 20-35 children with some children coming over from Newmark Primary School, down the road as well. This is an afternoon session (Stay and Play) service only. We use the hall and set up the room for our OSHClub kids. We have a fantastic relationship with the school principal and are also quite established in the community.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

• Enjoy working with kids
• Strong and clear communication
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader

• Experience working in service environment, preferably one who has supported behaviour and/or additional needs.

• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
• Australian work rights
• • Holds or is working towards a Diploma in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)
