The Role 

As our business continues to expand, we are now currently seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant / Admin to join our team. The role will begin as an assistant to the current warehouse manager with the right applicant and with our support, training and experience we see the longer-term goal as managing the facility.

No previous warehouse experience is necessary, however you will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking and reliable. The role can be physical, so you will need to be in good health and physically fit.

As the Warehouse Assistant / Admin, you will be responsible for assisting the warehouse manager in all aspects of warehouse functionality including the facility cleanliness and maintenance.

Duties

• Goods warehousing including incoming and outgoing stock
• Responsible for physical inventory accuracy and stock level
• Operating forklift (we can assist with license)
• Picking stock
• General Labour
• Unloading and loading trucks and containers
• Dispatch & booking freight
• Warehouse organisation
• Facility cleaning and maintenance
• Stock taking

Skills Required

• Basic computer skills
• Great attention to detail
• Accurate selection of stock required for orders
• Independent and dependable
• Forklift license would be ideal but not essential as we will assist
• Physically fit and healthy – the job can be very physical at times
• Solutions focused
• Problem-solving
• Driver's license
• Based around Sumner Park
