We are seeking a friendly, hard working team player to join our existing team. Applicants with all levels of prior experience are encouraged to apply for our dental assistant position. We provide specialised training and the opportunity to learn skills that will be invaluable. 

Our new team member's duties will vary throughout the week and will include:

  • Chair-side dental assisting
  • Instrument re-processing and sterilisation
  • Reception duties to support the administration team

This role offers:

On the job training, so that you feel confident in assisting for procedures and completing reception duties within a specialist practice is anticipated and will be happily provided.

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have an interest in making dental assisting a long term career and be looking for opportunities to grow and progress. 
  • Possibly have no prior experience but be open to learning new skills.  If this sounds like you, you may be our perfect fit! We have a strong focus on finding the right person for our team and are happy to provide all training required.
  • Be open to completing a formal qualification in dental assisting.

  • Enjoy face to face interactions with people of all age groups.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a strong work ethic into the workplace.
  • Feel confident with technology or have some prior experience using dental practice software (experience with Apple computers an advantage).

Our Practice is located close to public transport in the heart of the Port Macquarie business district. There is ample, free car parking available.
