The Role
• Ensure the smooth operation of a well-functioning and high quality long day care service working alongside a passionate 2iC
• Promote a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for all educators and families within the service
• Oversee and facilitate the curriculum provided within the service alongside the educational leader and use your sound knowledge and creativity to work towards continuous development and improvement
• Maintain safe and healthy environments for all children and team members
• Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory standards
Role Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved qualification)
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
The Company
Located close to St Leonards, this privately owned service is looking a centre manager for a 12-month maternity leave cover to maintain operations of a high quality service. The centre welcomes up to 90 children each day and creates a safe and nurturing space for little ones to learn, develop and explore. Located close to public transport and underground parking on site, the centre is easily accessible for team members and families. The centre features spacious areas for play based learning activities to nurture growing minds. With a longstanding and dedicated team of educators, you will guide and support the team to continue providing superb education and care.
