PRACTICE NURSE

Location:  Wahroonga/Parramatta/Campbelltown/Epping

Job Description:

Sydney Pain Management Centre (SPMC) is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary private pain management centres. This position is full time Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative and motivated individual to join our evolving practice. This position is full time.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop a nursing care plan and evaluating the outcomes

Assisting the doctor in clinic procedures

Confident with postoperative nursing care

Performing comprehensive patient assessments

Administering medications and evaluating the outcomes

Providing direct nursing care and case management to patients

Educating patients and their families in regards to their proposed medical procedures

Advocating for patients with the multidisciplinary team

Undertaking regular personal and professional development

Essential:

Current registration AHPRA

Strong team work ethic

Ability to work autonomously and take initiative

High level of written and verbal communication

Ability to multitask
