AEP Health Group are an Adelaide based team of allied health professionals who are passionate about people, community health and outstanding customer service.

We are currently seeking to fill a Full Time administration role, although a Part Time role of 4 days per week is also an option. After an initial training period at our Woodville head office, the position will be based from our Edwardstown and Noarlunga Clinics. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 5.00pm and Fridays 9.00am to 4.00pm (no weekend work is required). We provide full training and on-going support / mentoring with structured role progression.

We encourage your application if you have experience working in a health related reception role. The successful applicant will be:

  • Experienced in managing an appointment book
  • Able to work as part of a small administration team as well as independently when required
  • Able to provide support to allied health practitioners
  • Friendly and well presented
  • Thorough and organised

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in health and /or medical environment, making appointments, managing referrals, billing / payments via HICAPS, DVA, Medicare, NDIS, RTWSA
  • Excellent communication skills via the telephone and in person when greeting patients
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Experience in booking appointments for multiple practitioners and/or multiple clinics
  • Ability to follow administrative procedures
  • Proficient in the use of clinical software systems
  • Understanding of confidentiality and the Privacy Act
